Claire Bennet One of Ron's good friends in Purgatorium. Due to her cute face and amiable temperament, they seem to get along rather well. Her interest in his world certainly helps in endearing her to him. Gemma Doyle Easily one of the most important people to him in Purgatorium. Their witty banter drew them together as friends; when Hermione wasn't there, Gemma usually was. However, it was inevitable that Ron's feelings took a turn toward the romantic lane, and for a whole, he remained blissfully oblivious to them. However, once he realized the extent of his emotions, Ron became ridiculously jealous over King, pointedly obvious with Gemma about his feelings (primarily his envy) before just telling her outright. Since then, he avoided her and they just recently made up. He's wary of making any moves of her.

Hermione Granger Sometimes the bane of his existance, but always the object of his affections, Granger is not a woman Ron relishes messing with. She's brilliant, if a bit of a wet blanket for his fun sometimes, and sometimes he has the horrible habit of underestimating her because she's a girl, but the two are extremely close. He's a bit upset she actually ended up here in Purgatorium, but he doesn't mind the fact that, for once, it's him and Hermione rather than Harry and Hermione. He has a very obvious-to-everyone-not-them crush on her. Dropped.
